Draft official statements, press releases, speeches, and public announcements for the Mayor and the City Government.
Ensure all communications reflect the city’s priorities, values, and official positions.
Receive, log, route, and archive all incoming official communications addressed to the City Mayor’s Office.
Prepare, transmit, and document all outgoing communications, including letters, endorsements, and notices.
Maintain a communication tracking system to monitor status, deadlines, and feedback.
Oversees and maintains internal office online technologies, specifically cloud-based productivity suites (such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365) and various collaboration tools ensuring that users and teams can work, communicate, and securely store data online with optimal efficiency. This function is carried out in close coordination with the IT Division.
Leads the development and implementation of advanced communication aids, including, but not limited to, solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Serve as the primary liaison between the City Mayor’s Office and media organizations.
Organize press briefings, interviews, and media coverage of city programs and events.
Manage the City Government’s social media platforms and official website.
Produce engaging content such as infographics, photos, videos, and campaign materials.
Provide timely and verified information during disasters, emergencies, or critical incidents.
Coordinate with the City DRRM Office and other agencies for unified messaging.
Design and implement public awareness campaigns on key government programs and services.
Facilitate community engagement activities and communication consultations.
Develop communication briefs, talking points, and internal memos to assist the Mayor and executive staff in official functions and meetings.
